Warhammer 40K’s latest rulebook is all business. If you want to know anything about the setting they assume you already own one of their big glossy hardcover rule books. That’s cool with me: I do.

Even the ads in Wyrd Science are good.

Some other favourites mentioned at the back of the book: Warhammer Quest and Space Gits.

Wyrd Science ends with a discussion of what they are all playing and reading. Up first, one of the best, Trench Crusade.

One of the last sections in the magazine is articles about RPG adjacent topics, movies, music, etc, that is vaguely related to RPG stuff.

Wyrd Science moves on to two articles about zines: the first a history of RPG zines, the second an article about the one and only Lee Gold and her Alarums & Excursions.

Doomsong? The illustrations look vaguely familiar, but I don’t recall the game at all. Some grim dark goodness it sounds like.

Second mission against the Red Terror. Let’s see how we fare this time!

In my head Magic is stuck in the 90s. Finally trying to see if my cards are worth anything. The answer is mostly nope.

Playing through the narrative missions from the Red Terror boxed set my friend picked up. A refreshing change of pace from the complexity of the matched play scenarios with all the cards, crit ops, tac ops, etc. In this scenario we had to escape of the board, while hunted by a horde of termagaunts.
