TW: pet death Theo’s hamster passed away today. Helping an almost 8yo navigate grief has been filled with a lot of snuggles, validation that it is very sad to lose a pet, and checking in to see if he needs alone time or a hand to hold. It’s hard to see your baby be so sad 😭

This year I got to go to Cabo with the loml for my 40th birthday; we went to Disney and Legoland as a fam; and I got to go to San Diego with some crew and spend a lovely weekend next to the ocean laughing so hard I cried ❤️
