islands: one down, one halfway down, four basted squinting and thinking about moving (or removing) the top left one but idk

a medium green field of fabric with rounded blobs of light blue and light green fabrics on top of it. the medium green fabric has been appliquéd down to a surrounding outline of yellow green, and another line of light green fabric, a line of light blue fabric, and a line of medium blue fabric. the whole thing is appliquéd to a dark blue square. six smaller blobs in same color order (with medium green in the center) have been placed on top of the dark blue square around the main blob. one is fully sewn in place, one halfway, and four are basted in place.

i have been cutting, basting, clipping/notching, stitching, and trimming the islands. they look less impressive i guess? so i hadn’t been updating. one left for the light blue and then it’s time to rearrange them all and baste them on the dark blue
