the presentations of her character across castlevania games starting as a mask with a glowing eye, then turning into these various forms where she ends up having major roles in things. Like even her presentations in Circle of the Moon are hugely different from one another:

this part always kinda struck me as delulu since Bun uses JavaScriptCore and the apples-to-apples comparison would have been OpenJS

Q: What does this mean for Bun’s roadmap?
A: Bun’s team will be working more closely with the Claude Code team, and it probably will look similar to the relationship between Google Chrome <> V8, Safari <> JavaScriptCore, Mozilla Firefox <> SpiderMonkey, but with more independence to prioritize the wide variety of ways people & companies use Bun today.

Microsoft did the thing where they open Edge after a windows 11 update and this is a Desktop computer without a battery but hey like yeah tell me how battery is front and center.

AOL apparently has fully AI generated article categories and image captions, having otherwise inexplicably put an article on a disturbing video of the pedestrian being hit by an airplane under "Entertainment," and captioning a still from the airplane window as "a close-up view of a cup"

there's supposed magic that prevents the server you're connected to from logging PRIVMSG plaintext strings, but JOINS are fine. Mind you if your employer has an IRCd they're definitely logging fucking everything, same thing with Slack administrators being able to dump a full interaction history

I drilled down on some bad ai answers and there's a guy in a thread telling people that it is actually not possible for irc servers to log communications. Like, nonstop arguing with people in the replies.

I think it's kinda interesting that when you drill down into the stuff underpinning everything having "TUIs" these days that at some point the libraries are like 'go library implementing ncurses without the need for <part of ncurses api>' (alt text has english translations of image)

All the ads telling people to use copilot in excel for their business are kinda like, flying in the face of the actual text of the Copilot ToS aren't they? They kinda make it explicitly clear that the product is for entertainment purposes only
