One of my favorite glaze combos — 3x Mayco Amber Quartz all over then 2x Mayco Cenote on the inside and outer rim (it’s runny so only an inch down outside). I call is my Star Trek design because it looks like entering warp speed. #pottery #art #ceramics #funglazing
One of my favorite techniques is to paint the honey flux and then do alternating splotches or lines of different glazes on top of it. The HF will blend them together beautifully.

What to do with leftover colored clay? Agateware! These are made from the slip and trimmings from the black clay platters I made and some Standard 182 stoneware. I like to keep the outside unglazed because it just feels so nice in the hands. #pottery #ceramics #art #blackclay

I’mcalling this the green nipple. Glaze are both Spectrum — textured kiwi with dots of muddy waters. Fired to cone 10. I counted on it being runny but apparently I had a slight high spot in the middle of the bowl. Still, cone 6 glazes at cone 10 are lovely. #pottery #ceramics #potteryglazing
