Huge breakfast at my work cafe after a good morning weightlifting.

Sauteed kale, scrambled eggs, and vegan patties with salsa, Belgian waffle quarter with matcha mascarpone, ginger congee with plenty of chili crisp and soy sauce, plain yogurt with blueberries, a banana/blueberry smoothie, and finally cold black tea.

After four evenings of crafting spread over a few weeks, our tiny sake alley is complete!

Random leftovers fried rice for lunch: kimchi, mixed rice leftovers, leftover broccoli and steak, and green onions I sliced but forgot to use in breakfast this morning. Voila, delicious trash 🧑‍🍳 "Just make fried rice with it" leftovers meta stays winning ("recipe" in the picture alt) #foodposting

Picture of my plate of fried rice. It looks *amazing*, with the golden red of the kimchi fried rice and the deeper red brown of the steak contrasting with the bright green of the broccoli and green onions, and the yellow is the hibachi sauce.

Rough recipe:
Fry a half cup of large-diced kimchi, then add a mix of old white and brown rice from the fridge, about 1 ½ cups. Press it into the pan and let that sit and crisp up for 3 min, then add gochugaru to taste and an egg. Mix until the egg cooks, about 30s. Meanwhile reheat the broccoli and steak in the toaster oven, then slice for presentation. Plate the rice, top with broccoli and steak, squirt a few lines of hibachi yum yum sauce over it, then finish with diced green onion tops.
