Ed raises his head, that charming smugness of his suddenly flicking back on behind his eyes, and presses a wet kiss to the side of Stede's neck. He whispers, “Do you still want something, baby? Could suck you off, or you could fuck my hand? Fuck me, if you want to?”

The idea of fucking Ed while he's soft lights up a surprising, primal, horny corner of Stede's brain. Something to examine later. In great detail. A second idea follows hot on the heels of the first, but maybe this isn't the right time.

“Ah, very tempting darling. Are you sure you want to? We can just go to bed, that's perfectly alright.”

Ed licks a stripe up his neck, scrapes his teeth over his pulse point, and drops his voice into it's lowest register. “Stede. Do you want to come? I want to make you come. However you want.”

#wipwednesday this was supposed to be for bottom Stede week but uh, better late than never I guess? It will get posted eventually!

Stede got out of bed about half an hour ago.
They don't have any firm plans today besides getting into their next port by sundown, so Ed lets himself relax for a while longer, stretched out on his stomach in the morning sun with his nose buried in the orange blossom haze of Stede lingering on his pillowcase. He dozes, listening to Stede putter around the cabin, and as he lays there he becomes increasingly aware of two things. First, the combo of warm sheets and the memory of the night before- of Stede whining, digging his nails into Ed's shoulders while Ed bit at his nipples and played with his balls- has resulted in some substantial morning wood. Second, he also desperately, unfortunately, needs to piss.

The pink bird robe is draped over the chair next to the bed. He carefully slides himself over to it, trying to minimize any more dick to bed contact, and wraps it around himself. He scurries over to the en suite, noting that Stede is in the auxiliary wardrobe, flipping through every hanger on the autumn vibe rail from the sound of it.

#wipwednesday I still can’t decide if this is part of tiny love or if it will become innkeepers, time will tell

He's laying so close to Stede, head on his bicep, face basically in his armpit- a perfect place for Ed to get a good whiff of Stedeness and a hint of lavender soap. He nudges forward to brush his nose through the tuft of crinkly hair, a little tickle, then pulls back to take in the rest of the landscape, the hills and valleys of Stede's terrain.

New freckles sprinkle his forearms and hands from working with his sleeves rolled up over the last few months. Ed loves the tiny spots, Stede not so much. He's blonder now too, from the sun, or maybe there's just more white coming in and making it all look lighter.

He watches Stede's chest rise and fall, his nipple the same delicate color you'd see inside a shell. He blows a slow breath over it to ruffle the whispy hairs, does it again and watches it peak.

The ship had sailed. This was it. They're actually doing this, giving it a go.

Just the two of them.

For as long as Stede will have him.
Forever, maybe, if he's lucky.
Hopefully.

Ed hadn't spent more than a night or two in any house or tavern since leaving his mother's. But there he was, shacking up (literally) with Stede.

He turns his attention from the clouds to his lover. Stede's hair looks like a bird's nest.
Ed's fingers had mussed it up pretty good the night before and the pillows had only made it worse, Stede moves around a lot in his sleep.
