I'm a 38 year old trans woman (she/her), polyamorous, and a huge nerd. I can be a bit awkward but hey, who isn't?
This is me walking home from the bar, five gin and tonics later.
Today has been a good day for me. I hope the same is true for you.
I love stargazing. I don't do it enough. But it is so good for my mental health when I do. It helps put into perspective my own plights and worries. I'm a speck on a speck on a speck on a speck in the enormity of the universe and in many regards, that's a really welcoming feeling.
I went on a hike today. I need to move, to get in shape, and stop seeking perfection. So I went, as is, suboptimally equipped and unsure of a route. It was nice. And needed. I shall do it more.
It is Friday and I am jonesing for that good news once again. I will, of course, kick us off. My good news could be many things, but I'm going materialistic and saying that I snagged my holy grail Pokémon card, the Ancient Mew.
I don't get dressed up often (internal feelings of self worth related) but when I do, I certainly look okay.
Cole: I will kill all the administration officials present. Also Cole: Except for You Kash. I could never hurt you.
I actively collected the Knights of the Old Republic comics. I've sold bits and pieces of it over the years so it's not anywhere near complete, but I really enjoyed those comics.

Here are nine games that define me and my experiences. Each game holds something in my heart, even if they aren't all my favorite in the series. my9games.com
As a longtime fan of alternative win conditions, I have to go with Helix Pinnacle.
I put down Jean Grey today. I'm going to miss that cat. She made it through three presidents, two moves, and one marriage and decided to be grumpy the entire time. Wouldn't have changed it at all.
Come, grab a seat by the campfire. You've traveled long and deserve a rest. Tell me, what good thing has happened to you this past week? For me, it's that I got a haircut. It's been two years since the last one and if you don't mind the vanity, it does make me so much cuter.
Over 30 selfie thread I'm 38 and incredible in every way.
Congrats on hitting 1,000 followers! I have always loved the art of Tenth Editions Terror. It is haunting and beautiful and captures an abstract quality perfectly.
Actual bluesky challenge: post your favorite work of art from fifty years before you were born (if you feel like it) Not to Be Reproduced by Rene Magritte.
IF Pokémon were real and you were just an average trainer, what would your team be? (Be as realistic as possible. No Mythics of Legends.)
The 4 albums I grew up on. What are the ones you grew up on? Was I cringe then? Yes. Am I cringe now? You better believe it. Still listen to these albums too. You don't grow out of the cringe, believe me.
I'm sadly about twice as innocent as you. But less innocent than I was expecting.
Was looking at an upcoming game on Steam I was interested in and now I'm suddenly not that interested. Weird.
The Pagemaster is one of those movies that no one I talk to regularly seems to have seem, let alone remember, but I adored this movie as a kid.
I started my quest to play all of the PS1 RPGs tonight with Alundra. Played through the first boss, which was fun. For some reason I thought Alundra was something else entirely, so the story is taking a fun turn for me.
I love that Mega Malamar just looks like a queer Megamind.
This week has been a slog to get through, but we've made it to Friday, which is something. Tell me, what's your good news for the week? For me, it was finishing up the base coating of a team of miniatures that I've been working on. Now it's time to make them pretty.
Image launching any product and not having guardrails in place to protect people. AI companies are so incredibly scummy.
