Glad I had the foresight to pack my light hoodie, and my USB heating pad. It’s in the 40s outside, also raining and windy. None too warm in the “waiting” area. I’m sure it’s all comfy in the terminal. Not bitter. I guess I could unpack my jacket… nah, that would be a major effort.

Self check-in area in KEF airport, because security is closed.
Some self check remedies, trash and recycling bins and a whole lot of glass wall and ceiling.

This is The Wild Hunt of Odin (also known as Åsgårdsreien), a dramatic 1872 oil painting by Norwegian artist Peter Nicolai Arbo.
The scene depicts a chaotic procession of Norse gods and restless souls sweeping across the sky during the midwinter night, a motif rooted in Scandinavian folklore.
It is currently housed in the collection of the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design in Oslo, Norway.

How I’m feeling vs what I’d like to be. We hit the National Museum yesterday, so many amazing things.

I’m not feeling the athlete part (the bronzed is called the seated athlete by Per Storm

OK one last one, some iron work:

Three square glass light s above a combination of circles, and vertical/horizontal iron. It’s connected by some circuit board trade like paths that o just can’t adequately denote sit above the entrance gates.

A couple of flowers from the park as well. There were so many more. Very well laid out too, I must say.

Som pretty content pink flower. The camera did a good job of capturing it in the wind, or maybe I timed it just right ;)

I small red rose bud is just opening up in a see if green leaves. In a week or so, these will be everywhere and it’ll be even prettier.

I’m tired, and should go to bed, but first, some beauty for your feed. We strolled through Vigeland Park this afternoon.

The most famous statue, a little boy throwing a giant tantrum.
I feel this in my soul these days.

Big old water feature in the middle, around the perimeter is the stages of life.

Giant granite monolith. I think it was the craftsman working 14 years to bring the this giant piece of granite to life.

Greetings from the inbetween of Norway and Finland :). 80 and h u m i d today. Shade was OK, but the sun kinda sucked. I’m tired and want to sleep in a cold quiet room.
