🔬 How does nerve injury turn mechanical stimuli into chronic pain? The study identifies Piezo2 as a key player in mechanical hypersensitivity and shows that its absence also alters the organization of MrgprD⁺ sensory fibers in the skin. 🧵3/5

🔬 Is interferon signaling a consequence of Alzheimer's disease—or does it help drive it? The team showed that activating this pathway induces AD-like features, while boosting it in microglia worsens neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative alterations in mouse model of AD. 🧵3/5
