I got this one today. Simply proclaiming the name of the book, with nothing else. At this point it's practically performance art.
I automatically think of Mog, the cat from the "Meg & Mog" children's books
As someone who has written - and agonized over! - a few age gap romances, this was really interesting to read. This part stood out in particular (though you should read the whole thing):
Oh! I should say that this image used a lot lately - of Zuckerberg wearing Meta glasses - is a bit deceptive, since they're the next-gen Orion version. Not yet commercially available afaik. They're much larger than the RayBans-branded versions currently on sale.
Not a dumb question at all, tbh. The current ones are still pretty chunky - like, recognizably more so than most plastic frames, but you notice it more in the thicker arms (where the batteries/electronics are) IMO. They have two little lenses, one at each corner.
Mine is sitting under my monitor, reminding me to keep paddling even when the currents feel unstoppable
Thinking about movies you wish you could see again for the first time. There are plenty on my list, but 'Beau Travail' stands out this Friday afternoon.
I can haz @mostlybree.kitrocha.com whistles 🤩 (You can haz whistles too: www.etsy.com/listing/4449...)
Actually Smashwords is fine with erotica, but D2D can be heavy-handed with how it's classified for other retailers. I tried to add a D2D title to Bookshop and got an email saying universally no erotica.
These look good! I also spent a while wondering what curse word could be masked by these asterisks, until I realized they were meant to be rating stars 😂
I love that you didn't mince words 🤣 I also loved this part from R.K. Russell, because - though I'm no athlete, I was once a terrified gay guy in the closet - it touches on why I felt so much more connected to Scott/Kip's story. It felt more real(istic) (to me).
$4.67 is not, on the face of it, a royalty payment to get giddy about. But this is my first book in Overdrive, and the thought of someone borrowing it with their library card and reading it makes me so, so happy.
I strongly believe in Giving The People What They Want, and it appears what (some) of them want is absolute queer sexual mayhem for the grand price of ✨Free✨ But don't just take my word for it! Trust the readers! Links to download 'Riley's Basement' on my site, www.AlexPendragon.com 😁
Kudos to this presale email, which made me feel like an organized vampire rather than just someone considering buying a new underwear color 🧛
Out of prison, Aled treads water in a town wary of 2nd chances. Astronomer Thomas moved there for stars not romance: he's blindsided by the mutual attraction. Only he has faith when Aled's reputation damns him, but his rescue plan proves as disastrous as their flirting. #BluePit 📖 #Q #A #LGBT #OV #R
So, DRM-free ebooks on bookshop.org *do* have a "DRM-free" badge, but ebooks with DRM don't mention it on their listings. Which is a little less user-friendly than I wish it was, but I guess now I know what to look for before I buy 🤷♂️
Oh, and I desperately want Suzuki's red leather jacket (bad screenshot, I know, but trust me it's a nice red) so I need someone to find out where it's from 👀
Stayed up past my bedtime to watch '10Dance' and omfg 😳 Talk about a masterclass in how actor-chemistry, yearning, eye-contact, and tension can add up to Extreme Sexiness. (Ryoma Takeuchi taking off his shirt whenever possible doesn't hurt, mind, either)
