as my first hit was spot-on and sunk it, all I had to do was evade the escort. I got detected, but that's fine, I'll undamaged....and theeeeeeen... +1 for a night surface attack on a double-6 is...inconvenient. Cracking game, and a great introduction to it @gmtgames.bsky.social #boardgames

Another reason to laugh at the sport. I went to the pub on Friday night and played Agricola: All Creatures Big And Small instead of having anything to do with it. Far more enjoyable

I could be wrong, but I think it was originally a drink, but then it was so commonly also used as a spread or to beef up (no pun intended) gravy or sauces that they just embraced it and put it on the jar label

It also seems that Dark Lord Cthulhu has made R'lyeh rise from the watery depths and this has caused a huge tectonic shift, as people are pointing out that the map indicates that Salem has moved from the east coast to the west coast

made the right choice for our group, but I think it will be a very close-run thing between the two on which we prefer if we ever do get to compare them, so it's a win-win situation. Keep an eye on The Works as they sometimes sell little padlock craft charms - useful for marking locked buildings

Age Of Steam South Carolina map. It's such a great system, SC is very tight for goods and space. I love AoS, it's got a really tough balance of taking enough shares to get stuff done, whilst minimising how many you _really_ need to take as they drag on your economy & hit your score #boardgames #CCMF

Got a bit of Bot Factory in, recently. When I read the rules I thought "is that it" but also that there was definitely going to be more to it than there first appeared to be, as Vital is involved in it. #boardgames

Age Of Steam solo Barbados map. I always forget how fiendish a tactical & strategic puzzle it is. In the last 2 rounds I had two 4-step deliveries lined up, though I only delivered for 7 so I didn't hit the next income band, & then two 5-step deliveries. I scored 20, happy with that CCMF #boardgames
