People here interested in being influencers? I got asked this question often, so maybe it helps someone here too. "What's the hardest part of being a content creator?" My clear answer is: Advertising yourself. I hate it and I would be way more successful if that wasn't the case. "Why though?"

Oh it's certainly that I don't wanna get on people's nerves. I hate to see ads everywhere nowadays, so adding my own ads to the mix just feels so nasty... Outside of your own feeds on your own accounts, it also feels somewhat disingenuous. Like, yeah I want my content to be seen by people, but it's not fair to post that in another creators' feed. So I can make reddit threads? Sure, until they get taken down by mods who hate you for existing. Ok then I just reply to other posts without a hint on my own content. Most people will never know I am a content creator, if they don't actively look for it. There simply is no way to promote yourself in an ethical way to get in new people. Your own feed only works after you already have a big following, before that, you need to hijack other people's content or play the pretend game on reddit and other platforms. "Yeah I just want to show you this one thing here, absolutely don't care at all if you are interested in my other stuff as well." IT FUCKING SUCKS!

Oh, just wrote this comment on a reddit thread about why no one talks about how shit pregnancy is for women.

Women say it, the patriarchy owned media just doesn't print it. Pregnancy is the worst decision you can make for your body as a woman. A nurse once told me: "Pregnancy is like a medium serious car crash. Most people get badly injured, often also for life. Some get lucky with just some mild injuries and some get unlucky and die."

Women should be PAID for wrecking their bodies like that. But not only is their sacrifice diminished for "this wonderful miracle", it also comes with social repercussions like more discrimination, less freedom and mental exhaustion.
