I think I own the last ever alter done by Marshall Sutcliffe. He made me this somewhere in between me doing the LR episode about the Spider Spawning draft deck and he and I collaborating to build the Sidisi Spawning EDH deck.

Not excited to be up and flying this early — I can hear Sheldon telling me I did this to myself and he would not be wrong — but realized that somehow in all my years of SDCC this will be the first time I am taking part in a panel at the show.

I think the trick is to order a rum and Coke — or whatever booze and beverage — over a large rock. Then hold the booze. It will cost you like $15 but you get an impressive cube in the hotel bar.

Had an amazing time at Magic Con Amsterdam but did a godawful job of taking pictures with folks. Commander & Cocktails and The Menu continue to be very popular events and I get to meet and interact with so many people. I feel very fortunate and grateful to be part of this community every day.

For July 4th dinner I made tacos with a mango slaw; Maryland baked/blue tortilla crusted chicken tenders; corn, snow pea, cilantro and goat cheese salad; salsa verde; and pickled watermelon radish. Just like what our founding fathers ate at the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

In the grand scheme of global events around blockbuster IP that might not sound like a lot but this was a HUGE day for us. For me. This was something that was just an idea not too long ago and now it is something in people's hands that they are sharing and building communities around.

Had an amazing day yesterday. We made a game and have been Kickstartering it, fostering a community, and getting the word out. We did events in a handful of stores yesterday -- for a game that is not even out yet -- and had more than 300 people playing @cataclysmarcade.bsky.social in stores.

We are doing pop-up @cataclysmarcade.bsky.social events at a handful of LGSs around the country. No idea what to expect in terms of turnout but if you are attending one please take pics and tag us!
