The Apple Weather default app is such a mess, I really encourage everyone to use it with a grain of salt. Very Unhealthy Air but the AI doesn’t realize that also means not clear skies. Please, I beg you, do not rely on this for weather, it will kill you.
Not happy to report that the smoke situation in NYC is much worse than when the sky turned orange in 2023. This time the smoke is at the surface and you can smell it and definitely causes eye irritation. Mask up

Will always be fascinated by this city mural that seemingly popped up one day near my work in 2018. It’s on the City as School building at Hudson and Houston across from the Federal Bldg that many immigrants have to pass thru. The kids knew back then. Hope it’s still there.
@gregpak.net I voted today (Sat) at 2:30 and I think I was one of only 3 voters at the precinct in a sea of amazing volunteers (they are all so amazing!). I hope this was indicative of AOC not having a competitive race and not a wider issue in NYC. Because we need to win those competitive races.
