The Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich founded the Center for Advanced Studies in 2008. Since then, fellows from all over the world joined CAS.

Perception and Relationality in Narration of Medicine was the topic of Maura Spiegel’s inspiring lecture. With great insight and sensitivity, she showed how she uses film scenes in interactive workshops to encourage medical students to reflect on and discuss their clinical experiences.
