I call her Lady Jane, after the very nice woman who was clearing out her parents' house to put it on the market. (She couldn't stop thanking me for picking it up same day lol)

A medium tone wood china hutch (the seller called it pecan) next to a vintage child's rocking chair. The back of the hutch is dated January 20, 1966!

It's a good thing my husband deemed my enchilasagna "exceptional" because I made a set for the freezer.

Two square single serve dishes, containing cooked bean and cheese enchiladas, which are made with flat layers, rather than rolled.

Gonna use this weekend to free myself from the tyranny of the world's ugliest bathroom color.

The greenish gray cement color of my bathroom. I don't love the light fixture, either, but I think it's salvageable with just new glass shades.

I got rid of my pots and pans set when we moved, which means unless/until I pick replacements, all my cooking is happening on these five surfaces. And the oven and air fryer, I suppose.

Clockwise from lower left: the pressure cooker I never use to pressure cook, an 8" nonstick pan I got for free, a tiny 1 qt stainless sauce pan my mom gave me in like 2002 when she was attempting to prepare us to move out, one holiday at a time, a cast iron skillet, and (center) the built in cast iron skillet on my stove.

Anything is edible at least once, right? (I have no idea what kinds these are)

A smattering of at least two different kinds of mushrooms. On the left, they are lighter and rounder, like the dancing ones in Fantasia. On the right, the are darker, almost sinister looking.

A different clump of mushrooms, but possibly the same type as on the left in the other picture.

I am cleaning out the spice cupboard and told my son to say goodbye to my tiny Tabasco bottle. Without missing a best, he said "Adios, muchacho" which is particularly hilarious because he doesn't speak Spanish or eat hot sauce

Has anyone painted over their tile backsplash? Do you have any tips? I haven't even moved in yet and I already hate whoever chose and installed this.

Picture of a portion of the kitchen. Dishwasher below, cabinet above, and in between, the most obvious fake stone tile backsplash. They didn't even try to lay it so that the pattern repeats aren't as noticeable. Like, mix up the box, turn it upside down, SOMETHING.

This floor plan is unhinged, but I'll be honest, the price is right

Floorplan of a house that has clearly had an addition, resulting in some weird layout stuff. For example, in order to go from the front door to the primary bedroom, you have to go through the kitchen, the "dining room" (formerly a bedroom, methinks) down a couple steps into the family room, then turn into the laundry room. From there you go through ANOTHER kitchen, finally to get to the primary. But it has an en suite, so....

My husband wants to make a little table top soccer game and call it Futbol and I said to call it Futbowl, but I can't decide if it's clever or just Oneders.

A product called a Biñho board. It has a red playing field, surrounded by white...bands? They look kind of like resistance bands, I think? With little pegs as players and a ball that you try to flick into the net. It's kind of like a big shallow bowl, right??

Maybe I'm just a basic bitch, but I hate this trend so much. I want a SHOWER CURTAIN. I do not want someone wandering into the bathroom to look for the good nail clippers and seeing me freeze my tits off as water splashes half the room!!

A fancy primary bathroom with obviously expensive finishings. The toilet is on the left, a stand alone tub on the right, and in the middle is the shower, which is protected by a maybe two foot wide panel of glass, with the rest of it open to the shower. Also of note, it appears to be a rainfall shower head, which makes it hard to avoid getting one's hair wet.
