While I've always tipped, I used to be really diligent about computing a 15% tip in my head. Then one day, I realized that the difference between 15% and 20% is minimal. I can afford an extra 50 cents or $1 or $5 or w/e. And the math is easier. And it's better for the staff. So I always tip min 20%.
