THE PEOPLE'S AUDIT WILL:

Identify and report on what happened under Ken Sim’s tenure, and who bore the consequences.

Improve transparency and expose the problems at the city by talking with current and past city workers, and the public to improve public services and cut waste.

Fix the ways that the bureaucracy is broken by reviewing service and systems performance, patron experience, staff climate, and bringing more voices to the table to transform the City.

Turn the ship around and put Ken Sim and ABC behind us by immediately reversing his disastrous decisions.

ABC just voted down an amendment to the Villages Plan from Cllr @seanorr.bsky.social that would've extended tenant protections to renters in secondary suites and small multi-unit buildings. ABC votes against protecting renters - again. Election Day is October 17th.

NEW at City Hall: Ken Sim and ABC just voted against restoring the Renters Office. ABC eliminated this office dedicated to supporting at-risk tenants back in January 2023. We're going to restore the Renters Office after we evict ABC in October.

Free transit in Vancouver? That would be a dream come true for many, and it’s one that a Vancouver mayoral candidate would push for.

We recently crossed the fifth anniversary of the devastating B.C. heat dome that killed hundreds, and Stephanie Allen, who is vying to become the next mayor of Vancouver, has some thoughts on the past, present and future of the climate reality we all live in.

One of her plans, for the sake of the climate, would be to push the Province for free transit in Vancouver.
