My first manual was a 2005 solar yellow xB! I fully intended to drive that car till I died but a few years ago someone stole it, stripped it, and spray painted it blue with a black racing stripe. Fully totaled. I've got a manual Subaru now. It's not the same. 😭

The hood of my car spray painted badly. The paint is all over the headlights. But hey, it's got a cool racing stripe!

Six quarts of Irish bean and cabbage stew, all preserved and whatnot. I don't know if an entire day of my life was worth it. Canning is hard. Ask me again when we crack these bad boys open this winter. 😂

Mabel and Dipper as babies 🥹

Prototype Prepotente is done! Mistakes were made, I learned a lot, and I know where I want to make changes. I think I'm ready to buy yarn and give my pattern a shot for real! (Body and head were modified from Stephanie Buckner's Mushroom Guy pattern.)

Egg noodles, mango, and cashews plus home grown carrots, garlic, and onion. All in vegetable broth and coconut milk and spices. Even though my multicolored canned carrots looked horrific, it was a tasty dish 😊

Carrots from my garden, pressure canned a few days ago. They used to be orange, white, and purple. The orange carrots are still orange but the purple and white are a horrifying, zombie gray.

One and a bit more jars of carrots. I did hot pack last time, so this time I did raw pack because I wasn't to see the difference. Also, I love that the fancy purple carrots dye the water. I wonder if the white carrots will soak it up and I'll have pink carrots 😂

On average, round 2 carrots (which were planted in bare, rocky, sad soil on a whim) are much bigger and more carrot shaped than the ones I planted in good soil. Lesson learned: carrots are ungrateful bastards 🤨

Zadie pooped herself in my bed last night. This morning I discovered Coco peed in her dog bed. Great job patriots. You literally scared the piss and shit out of my sweet pups. When you set off fireworks, this is who you're hurting.

People are setting off big enough fireworks in my neighborhood that my DEAF CAT jumped. (She was sleeping on her wall mounted shelf and a boom rattled the walls.)

I'm gonna need to make a bigger drying rack. Also, look at (about half of) my onion and garlic harvest!

A home made drying rack made from leftover pet safe front door screening, two random bits of wood, and a couple saw horses. There's about a dozen onions in various states of drying, plus maybe ten newly harvested garlic bulbs.

Not only do I see multiple bugs in my strawberries every day since planting borage, I see multiple TYPES of bugs. Fuzzy bumbles with saddlebags of pollen. Daddy longlegs hiding in the mulch. Hoverflies that zip around happily. Jumping spiders hunting in the leaves. And this stunning lady!

Omg we were just outside and one of the neighbors I'm on nodding acquaintance with walked by. We said hello and when I asked how he was doing, he said, "Oh great! Just admiring Coco and her marshmallows." 1 I didn't know he knew her name And 2 I'M SO MAD I DIDN'T THINK OF THAT FIRST.
