When I was a freshman in college a classmate had worked on movie sets in Wilmington, NC, and told me about this young actor named Gary Oldman who had absolutely blown him away.
oh! they've been up and running for a couple months now. Pretty recently. They look gorgeous. I think the brown water this week was because they were using some feeder pipes that hadn't been used in a while, at least according to NPS. This was the end of May.

One thing I'm really glad about is they created separate structures for fishing. The old bridges had people casting directly from the bike path, which got, as you might imagine, a bit chaotic at times.
Posting an all-too-rare good thing™ but I got down to see the new bridges on the East Bay Bike Path in Warren, RI, today and they're gorgeous. Slightly higher than the old railroad trestles, and made of lightweight prefab trusses that require less in the way of support structures.
Oh apropos of the communion wafer comment I keep seeing ads for THC-infused those things and I’m very confused.
This 1989 Trek 1400 that I bought off a dude on craigslist when I first moved back to DC in 2017 and put some cool Nitto riser bars and a set of track wheels on and rode everywhere including down through RCP and up the Anacostia to RFK this past Sunday. Had a couple beers at Solace along the way.

I’m glad the shoveled the drive and cleared off the car. my guess is that they plan on sitting in it making vroom-vroom noises until the plows come down the one-block side street to clear the three feet of snow?
March 6: Rebooted my router. July 21: bought a longer ethernet cable to move the router onto the end table so the signal is stronger at the TV in the bedroom.
