Leapfrogging Link through SoDo. This is the One Line to Federal Way Downtown.
I love how Lander St next to SoDo Station has 7 lanes for cars but the best SDOT could do with the two-way PBL was route it onto a substandard 6' sidewalk that's used as a bus loading zone.
Well now I know what the ABS on my e-bike feels like. Driver tried to right hook me in the PBL at Dearborn & 10th.
Parking illegally directly behind the Parking Enforcement car is a mood.
At 23rd & John sometimes you get a RapidRide 8 🚍 and sometimes you get a RapidRide Link 🚉
So the Sound Transit shuttles don't actually cover the full span of suspended service? You have to transfer three times to ride through? Cool.
Another successful Costco trip by bike. 2x 18 packs of protein drinks, 4x bags of frozen fruit, 4x bags of granola.
Finally biked the Lake Washington Loop through Juanita and Kirkland. Definitely less pleasant than the Sammamish River Trail but the view at Juanita Bay was nice!
Discovered today that from my new office in the Rainier Tower I can get to this covered bus stop for the Capitol Hill routes with only 50 feet of walking outside (Freeway Park). Will be nice when the weather is bad!
Doggo's first ferry ride! Just a short trip to Whidbey Island.
Getting ready for E-bike Summer by celebrating New Bike Day!
I am once again repeating my request for Metro to stagger the 8 and 11 so that they provide frequent service between Madison Park and Capitol Hill instead of leaving at the same time in both directions.
How do I know no one at @theorcacard.bsky.social has tested their app on Android? The Contact Us page covers the subject and message text fields with the keyboard so you can't see what you're typing, and even if you do fill it out it errors when you try to submit it.
I am once again repeating my request for Metro to stagger the northbound 8 and 48 so that they provide frequent service between Mount Baker, Judkins Park, and the Central District instead of leaving at the same time. @girmayzahilay.bsky.social
We may have missed the LWB fun this weekend but @sassyarmand.bsky.social and I biked the Golden Gate Bridge today!
Does anyone know how to board an @sfmta.com BART train? This one has been sitting here for several minutes but the doors don't open and there are no benches on the platform.
The view from Bruce Harrell's window during the Lake Washington Boulevard celebration this weekend.
Similar situation at 14th & Union this morning but it looked like a worker was actively collecting the signs to be picked up.
Can confirm the new @amtrakcascades.wsdot.wa.gov trainset has made it to Edmonds!
Left Spokane earlier this morning, should be getting into Seattle around 6PM
Rare bus sighting! I didn't expect to see an articulated bus all the way out in Gold Bar.
Turns out East Main Station does have a bathroom. Sorta.
I appreciate that @seattledot.bsky.social updated the signage for the fantastic new E Marginal Way path but could they please use signs that can read without stopping and squinting? We ended up in the road because we went right when we should have gone left.
