according to professional youtube commentors, hobbies are illegal and you must optimize your life for income and productivity at all times!

unhinged youtube comment that says:

If you worked at any low wage job one day a week for 8hrs, at $8/hr (a reasonable wage in 2008), you'd have about $2,600 after a year after taxes.

In the 4 years it took this guy, he'd have earned $10,400.

The S&P (SPY) is one of those most stable investments in human history - growing roughly 10% annually for 100 years.

Had he placed his annual earnings from that joke-level job into the S&P for those 4yrs, he'd have $60,300 today.

He'd also have spent 1600hrs "working".
The same amount of official hours he spent on FFX, and would have even been allowed to play videogames if he was a guard like I mentioned.

Just keep that in mind when you say it's not loser behavior.
