Welp. That was certainly a speech.

The cat’s name is Julius, he is very orange-brained and tends to be afraid of everything. What’s admirable about him is that when he is worried about something, which is often, he tends to run at it while singing the song of his people.

On Tuesday, trying to find a protest or vigil, I heard the news that our war-criminal president had backed off. Finding nothing to join, I went to a local park, watched the sunset, and wept in relief.

I’m brainstorming a new indoor enclosure for my little tortoise buddy, Fizzgig. 💚 🐢 This little buddy has grown so since 2021!

Fizzgig, my red-footed tortoise buddy, soaks in a small reptile bathtub. He’s a tiny little tortoise and looks small in a small tub of water. A tiny little guy! 2021, under 1 year old.

Fizzgig is much larger here! We’re working closely with a vet specialist and following advice on keeping his shell healthy. He’s standing on some greens and already chomped his strawberry treat. 🍓 4 years old, 2025.

I missed Caturday for a few weeks now, but it’s always Caturday in my life.

I went to the museum and caught the Takashi Murakami exhibit. It was fantastic and I am smitten with this piece.
