Vine Mine is 10mins/level, Entangle is min/level, vortex is rounds/level duration so even if the vortex runs out they're fucked hard. And if the whole duration sits on them... ~90ish damage in an AOE that you can't do anything about. If they live, they're still trapped and you have more spells.

oh yeah fishing went good. buncha bluegill, couple pumpkinseeds and a perch. coat of sriracha as a binder then tossed in red pepper and lemon pepper, grilled over charcoal until crispy skin
