Since Condemened is out I think it is a good moment to share the art I made for the thumbnail. It was an interesting piece to work on especially since the versions of these characters I drew were based on portraits by @jacqjohnsonart.bsky.social not necesserily the official art by MCDM. #drawsteel

I know I have been somewhat absent from bsky recently, but that's because I've been hard at work with several different projects, many of the concerning Draw Steel. On that note, I decided to rework one of my OCs, to deploy her as an NPC in my DS game. (I know, not an mcdm orc, but it's my setting)

I forgot to post the next hero for the awesome Dark Heart of the Wood actual-play by @riseheroesrise.bsky.social. Today we will do a double feature. First is Sarames the mighty Hakaan Warrior played by @thedicesociety.bsky.social! #DrawSteel

Hi everyone! A mini campaign of Draw Steel I played in just ended, and I didn't finish my character art by then, but it's done now. Here she is, my Gol Elementalist Thula. Playing her was a lot of fun, the same as drawing her! I love the design of the gol so much! Good job @hellomcdm.bsky.social

Thula is a muscular woman with red hair and tanned bronze color skin.
She is dressed in leather and pelts but she also wears a lot of complex jewelry incorporating uncut gems and crystals.

First of all sorry for long pause in my art uploads. Thankfully it was due to a large amount of commissions from the lovely Draw Steel community 💕. I finally able to show the results of the first project. Here is some of the art I made for the Ratcatcher Magazine 2.

I don't think I have ever shared this, but I also do maps! Recently I tried making a very fast very messy map for my home game of Draw Steel and I think it turned out very well! I think I might try to draw a Battle Map next!

I was recently experimenting with different art-styles and wanted to try doing something like the Dragon Age inquisition cards. I really like how it came out!

Just learned you can put your own art and modify the ancestries in the Draw Steel Codex!!!! I am running in my own world so I put the orc character I recently made as the picture.... now I feel like I should do that for all the ancestries 🫠

ANcestry Selection screen within Draw Steel Codex. The selection is set to orc, with an illustration changed to one made by the author, depicting their own version of orcs (calicotherium based humanoids).

I am not sure how it happened, but i never posted one of my favourite pieces of art from last year! I made this art of Anastazia, necromancer PC played by my partner, as a secret santa! I was inspired a bit by the shader used in Marvel Rivals, and also the art style of this character's creator 💕

I am in love with my new workflow! I tried it first with the Gol art but that was messy. This is my first really polished art using this method and I love it! This one depicts an orc from Nalar which is my setting. I might one day try making a setting supplement for draw steel, but no plans rn. #art

I have been recently struggling with drawing A lot. One thing that helped me was making that Gol art and discoverong a new process. Today as a practice I made this fellow, a carrion eating ape like creature, called crowherd.

A baboon like monster covered in Moss crouching and hissing. It grasps a severed human hand. A crew has arrived intrigued by the sight of corpses.

I have a master's degree now! I am very proud of my thesis, which was on violence in video games, it's contexts and meanings. Unfortunately I cannot post it here as it is in polish.... but as a part of my thesis I had to make an art project, and it was a boardgame... so here are some cards:

A card made for a personal boardgame project. The card name is berserker. It gives the player bonus to damage, when they have more wounds than health. The card ilustration depicts a man screaming in agony and anger.

Another card for the same project. This one is called smart it depicts a face with giant head and a crosssection of half of hte head showing the eye and the brain

Card called unremarkable. The card gives bonus to stealth. Illustation depicts a crowd of people with the same facial features.
