He/him Language, writing, law, games, music. Not necessarily in that order. I try to be a decent human. I have opinions, but I'm always trying to learn more.
Hm, this doesn't seem weird at all. The FBI merch claims are "absolutely, 100% false" but the firing of Iran counter-terroris, agents is only "not true." I guess that one is false, but less false than the first one?
Seriously, @nytimes.com, do you even journalism anymore? You ask the 10 am barflies (hoping for a free drink from the TV) what they think - whatever. But then you say the same conversation is happening "across rural Minnesota." What is the basis for this sweeping statement?
@bcdreyer.social, could you please begin a campaign against people who don't know the difference between "vice" and "vise"? Particularly journalists and their editors? (And maybe judges?) Nobody claims Chicago is in a "vice hold of violence."
Doesn't parody have to be somehow commenting on the parodized property? From Dr. Seuss v. Penguin Books: "Courts have allowed parody claims only where there was a discernable direct comment on the original." (I don't know if this is still good law, or if it's been changed by later cases.)
He may be the smartest person on the panel (low bar), but this shows that he doesn't really understand that Rufo, Yarvin, et al., don't give a shit about "majority support" or public approval of their program.
Movie you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, or Marvel.
So... the answer "How can Democrats win" is "Be Republicans"? This guy can fuck off into the sun.
Who is your celebrity “Birthday Twin” (born same day as you)? Answer with pic or gif only
Post a pic you took with no description to bring some zen to the timeline. (Yes, I know, the alt text is technically a description. Don't read it if you don't want to.)

Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #448,357! (Immediately after complaining that I couldn't find the card, I found it.) Top 5%! I believe this entitles me to a Dukedom, or at least a Barony?
Don't know if it counts, because it was a movie, but it's streaming-only on Peacock, so I'm considering it a TV show. And I'd be OK with either of these two coming to save me.
Can someone on the Bluesky team - @pfrazee.com, @why.bsky.team, @jay.bsky.team, anybody? - please explain what this is doing in my feed? Did I miss a memo? One appeal of Bluesky is no algorithm suggesting who/what to read or follow. What gives? (I see no setting to turn this off.)
