Mimir was my nurse/therapy cat, he'd always come gently snuggle my face when I was Down, and check in on me to break spirals. When I cried he'd place a very soft paw on my cheek. Your two are gorgeous, very Good kitties 💙

My bff's reptiles. Was happy to pet sit again last month! Alice the beardy, 10 ish yo, lovable, fussy eater. Bella the python, 5 ish yo, somewhere under 6 feet, freshly shed. & the mourning geckos, most a few years old, approx 6 girls, very chittery, not escape artists as is apparently typical.

Animal tax for history rant. I'm missing my departed babies, but I get to spend some time with family animals occasionally. Bf's dog, Rocky, a 9yo staffy adopted from family at xmas. She's lovely & doing great. Parents' crocker spaniel, Waffle, 4yo at least, & settled into a great rambler.

Greyish brown & white staffy dog. She's sitting up, almost looking at the camera. One ear is up like an elf or peglin character, the other back & bent in a way that looks like she's missing a chunk, though it's not. You can see a bit of her bottom teeth, and she has tiny white ankle sock markings on her toes. She's sitting on a blue mat over a beige carpet, next to her open metal crate that's filled with grey and red blankets.

Browny grey staffy dog, with white neck flash. She's laying on her side on a dark sofa, bum to bum with me, a white human in light pj bottoms. Her left front left is thrown over my foot, pinning me while she sleeps.

A black crocker spaniel dog. His head is laying on my lap, I'm wearing blue and mint coloured pjs. The dog looks very mournful, because our parents had just left him with me for the day.

Not sure if this has been suggested- I got a pill syringe for my cat. You can get it further back in their throat more easily, and more quickly. Trying to do it by hand, even rubbing my cat's throat for half hour still meant a spat out pill. I agree with lots of fav treats too! Good luck x

I've been reading a lot the last few months, in between vet visits. Found out in early January that my Poppydog has nerve cancer, so that's been very unfun. We've got her stable & happy for now on pain meds (librela, gabapentin, rycarfa), but it's gonna be this year. She's not even 9 yet.

This is our safe place for firework panic attacks. She was panting and takes hours to calm down. Unfortunately, we live in a flat in a reasonably dense residential area, so there is no way to avoid fireworks, especially since they are let off at any time of the day or night, over months.

A stressful evening of wasted, old, football fan neighbours setting off fireworks right outside yesterday. Had to comfort Poppy in the bathroom, took her two hours to stop shaking & panting. Dreamt of my Nana's house, & my babies bouncing into the garden. Slow to remember they're gone after waking.
