Found in a local book exchange. They don't make covers like that any more. I don't even care whether the book is good.

"It would appear that our Rotary Club has an enemy/enemies" might be the greatest opening line in the history of passive aggressive posters. I don't know who the enemy/enemies of the Ilkley Rorary is/are but I salute anything that led to the creation of this work of art.

It would appear that our Rotary Club has an enemy/ enemies. Four times this year this display cabinet has been deliberately forced open and any poster on display removed leaving the cabinet door swinging dangerously in the breeze. To cap it all, the whole cabinet was prised off the wall and dumped down the street. Why would someone do that? The events publicised in the cabinet over the period were a choral concert at St Margaret's, a Folk Concert at the Clarke Foley and a Recycle Day. The posts are purely informative of forthcoming local Rotary events.
Nothing controversial there you would think. The cabinet cost £500 funded by our Members. The Local Authority has given permission for it to be sited here.
The Rotary Club raises money for charities many of them local to Ilkley. No Club Member benefits financially from the collections, i.e. no management costs. The Club is not affiliated to any political organisation. The Club does not have a religious bias.
The Club does not take sides in global conflicts but it does raise money for those innocent civilians who suffer during conflicts. The Club also raises money to help people who suffer following natural disasters such as earthquakes, flooding etc. Our Club has donated over £100,000 to charities in the last five years, money largely donated by you, our local citizens and businesses. The mantra of Rotary is - "Service above self" - which says it all in a nutshell.

My darts accuracy has improved a lot but I still can't actually hit the double I'm aiming at with any degree of consistency. Endless near misses are still misses. It's an entertaining paradox.

Three days thrown at the double 6. Two are in the single 6 and one is in the double 10. All are less than a centimetre from the double 6.
