I learned about it from E3 coverage that year! Took me visiting a dozen stores to find a copy too. I ran a booth next to one of Keita's games at a festival a decade later, and he graciously made some upgrades to that copy. 😅
I once tried this on a Nomad instead of a Genesis, it didn't go well. (but it works on Genesis!)
Heck yeah! Congrats on the announce! We're making Slap Out Of It!, a slap-and-solve adventure game inspired by classic point-and-clicks, escape rooms, and spoof comedy movies. It brings our Floor Plan series out of VR, to PC and console for the first time. store.steampowered.com/app/3564410/

I rolled credits on more than a dozen games this year, way more than my usual 5 or 6. The release calendar was just terrifyingly crowded with great games. I'll have to slow down if this continues in 2026. Some honorable mentions that should be on more lists...
For years, I've tried to keep up with what's going on around me in the games industry by playing at least two new release games every month. I'm currently at 24 for 2025, and these are the two I can't stop thinking about:
the key to a low spotify music age is to just listen to the clair obscur soundtrack on repeat
