Don’t ride the bus to Putney on a Sunday. Spend your money at Southside instead. And teenagers, your journey home doesn’t matter ….

Meanwhile, for the vast majority who don’t drive children to private business schools, this is the north end of Putney Bridge. Wandsworth & Putney is a disaster for children trying to cycle to school. Very hard to turn right & head south on Putney Bridge.

Plenty of examples in SW London where private car drivers race along parallel streets to get ahead of buses and other drivers. Putney Bridge Road & Deodar Road is the perfect example.
The system for e-bike operators to prevent pavement obstruction isn’t effective. The fine is £2 for Lime for example and paid automatically. That’s not a proper incentive to change behaviour.
@wimbledonltc.bsky.social continues to degrade its local neighbourhood by using oversized passenger trucks and idling whilst parked. This is not ok.
Spending £400,000 on a very basic playground because we choose to make our streets so hostile to any type of community activity.
