Finally found my feet 👣 They still don’t fit in Tory shoes. Pro #EU but it’s going to take time to #Rejoin. #ElectricVehicle, #Solar and any other waffle that takes my fancy. Going to try not to swear. #Wülferhampton Leper Gate dweller.
#solar #homegeneration for May and June 2026. Below par months again but you can’t expect record breakers every year. One interesting note was the performance of my 4.8kwp system in the hot days of June. Production wallowed at 3.68kw due to the temperature of the panels. Cold sunny days are best!
A couple of years ago we stayed at a little Airbnb outside Buxton in a place called Crowdecote. The Packhorse next door did excellent food and drink
I chuckled when I saw this but couldn’t find it when I tried to explain it to the Mrs. Fortunately bluesky search seemed to know exactly what I was looking for
@bob-p-dj.bsky.social Nice meeting you at Stanford Hall today.
Lovely in Avebury this morning. Here’s a great pic of a field of crows foraging Cc @wulfhelm.bsky.social
Monthly #solar #homegeneration report. Well 2 months, I missed March. Mixed weather gives mixed results but still generally above average. A few sunny days can save a monthly total in the early months of the year. March and April both saved by end of month sunshine!
This is The Beehive. An ex Morrels, now Greene King pub. I spent a lot of time and cash drinking in this pub in the late 90s early 00’s. Great times.
February #homegeneration update for our 4.86kwp #solar system. Slightly below average but it was a pretty grey month. We didn’t really see sunshine at all so no surprise. Looking to March for an improvement but I think it’s unlikely to get to the heady heights of March last year.
The NHS will sort you out Allister. Labour’s gift to the nation.
I know their P&P charges are sometimes a bit steep but I think this is going too far
35+ years ago #nowSpinning. Touched by the hand of Cicciolina.
A you remove the helmet from this? Surgically or photographically I don’t mind.
Time for the January #homeGeneration #solar update. Pretty normal January. A little more than last year but down on previous years. Savings this time of year are due to home storage and off peak rates. Considering a Solar install? Definitely consider a battery to go with your system.
Next on the moderate list is Dag Nasty - Field Day #vinyl #nowSpinning
I’m trying to find moderate stuff from my #vinyl collection while the Mrs is in. #nowSpinning Toyah - Anthem
That was Mr Shush and the Magpies with Flouncing Izal. Next up, Sugar Tongs with Absolute Zero Gravity.
Next up. Hazel O’Connor, Sons and Lovers. #nowspinning. This #vinyl thing is pretty good imho
Time to dig out this classic. #nowspinning Ruts. The Crack
As a New Year’s resolution I’m digging out my old vinyl and actually playing them. So today we have John Moore and the Expressway #nowSpinning
#nowSpinning. A bit of Ska with a reformed Specials lineup.
In December my inverter failed so I missed nearly 2 weeks of what I thought would be poor #solar #homegeneration. Despite that we still beat last year. My bill will be higher than usual though. No battery storage meant that I missed out on 10kwh daily of off-peak prices, when the system was down
Time for some Babble. That Petrol Emotion #vinyl #nowSpinning
#NowSpinning. Bought the boy a turntable, amp and speakers for Xmas. Testing the system with a bit of XTC.
Spent a bit of the morning taking the GTI out. It’s not often you get sunshine on Christmas Day so why not. Merry Christmas to you all.
Crackly 2nd hand purchase. Probably the 1st record I’ve bought since the 90s. Bow Wow Wow - When the going gets tough, the tough get going #nowspinning
It’s Christmas cabrio weather tomorrow. Going to take the GTi out for a spin.
