Empress makes a pretty gimlet!

A gimlet made with Empress indigo gin in a coupe glass with a hollow stem, garnished with a coiled lime twist. The lime juice has turned the gin pink.

Oh my gawd

The Tanks as kittens, both in my lap. Sherman is blissed out at the bottom of the pile, with his eyes closed and head thrown back. Panzer is on top of Sherman and staring me down. They are not kittens anymore, but they are still exactly like this.

Happy Tankaversary, boys!

Panzer the Siamese and Sherman the orange and white tabby, four years ago to the day. Panzer is loafed in my lap. Sherman is cuddling a kickeroo toy. They are wee and eepy and innocent looking. Which is how they get you.

Panzer the Siamese as a kitten, asleep on his back in my lap, with my arm across his chest. You can see his neuter-day tattoo on a shaved patch of his very fluffy belly.

Sherman the orange and white tabby has scaled my back and is nuzzling my head while hugging my neck. We are both four years younger. He wears it better.

Sherman the orange and white tabby is sleeping so hard that he has face planted in my lap. He still does this.

Picture purrfect

Figs the handsome black cat, Sherman the orange and white tabby, and Panzer the Siamese are arrayed across the foot of my bed. Figs on the left is flopped on his side facing away from the others. Sherman is loafed in the center looking toward Figs, and Panzer is sitting upright on the right looking toward the other two. They look like a feline bar chart. Each is on his own leopard print thermal mat on a teal and white ginkgo-pattered bedspread.

Where Figs?
