Started using Pokemon sleep again a couple weeks ago, and anyway I caught a Mew 🥰
Look who got a spot in the Pride display at Kanda University of International Studies 🥰 🏳️🌈
This is a page I really like from my graphic novel about growing up gay and orthodox Jewish, "Gaytheist: Coming out of My Orthodox Childhood". It depicts me as a baby learning one of many blessings I had to have memorized, and recite before regularly. This is one of several said before food/drinks.
A friend visiting from the US finally brought me my copy of Morgan Boecher's latest graphic novel, Chicken Heart! So excited to finally read it!!
Lol my graphic memoir about growing up Orthodox Jewish I'm gay has 666 rating is on Goodreads 😆 tell your fellow heathens about Gaytheist: Coming Out of My Orthodox Childhood www.lonniecomics.com 😈
Gonna repost some old pokemon doodles for #pokemon30 and incidentally, this one features Ditto ^^
Found the (brown) stone spire from @nightvaleradio.bsky.social (in Japan)
I finished reading the comic Witchlight. It was real good, you should check it out.
Finally finished @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social's hot sauce I got from the project for awesome a couple years ago.. it was so good... I'll miss you, hot sauce 💔
Still tickled by my not-quite easter eggs in this panel of my graphic novel about growing up Orthodox Jewish and gay - the blackboard's lower-right partially blocked hebrew is meant to say "chas v'shalom" i.e. "heaven forbid!" Also, the Don't, Always, and Never under "IMPORTANT!" 😂
Reading Roaming by @dirtbagg.bsky.social and Mariko Tamaki, seeing this shot of St. Mark's in NY, and Kenka specifically, was so nostalgic! I lived in the city for 6 years after moving back from teaching English in Japan, before moving to Seattle. What a place to be in your early 20's.
Consider taking a break from the awful shit going on today to read my comic about growing up gay and Orthodox Jewish: Gaytheist: Coming Out of My Orthodox Childhood
Finally read Hello, Sunshine by @keezyyoung.bsky.social and it was so excellent!! What a great graphic novel, go read it!
Haha looks like I had a similar gap. I think I started buying again during a winter sale?
