I used to make maps and scrolls by hand, and then age them with tea and in the oven. Still got a couple, hanging as art on a wall, from over 35 years ago.

#bloodbowl league night, last night. Completely out of the blue, they gave me a new Necro team, "we know you've had a pretty shit year, we'd like you to have this new team as a pick me up and thanks for everything." I was completely gobsmacked. This is so kind of my local community 😍

CONSUME

A fork of uBlock Origin Lite that, instead of hiding cosmetically-blocked ads, replaces them with white tiles bearing slogans from John

Carpenter's 1988 film They Live: OBEY, CONSUME, WATCH TV, SLEEP, SUBMIT, CONFORM, STAY ASLEEP, BUY, WORK, NO INDEPENDENT THOUGHT, DO NOT QUESTION AUTHORITY.

Each blocked ad gets a single phrase, picked at random from the list.

The idea is from a blog post I wrote in 2015 (and never got around to building): They Live adblock mode.

Thank you for your email. I believe that in time the UK will reconsider its relationship with the EU and may well think again about joining. However. what is not clear is how our European neighbours might feel about us wanting to come back. We often assume that they would welcome us with open arms - but I am not sure that would be the case. The closer economic co-operation that the government is talking about must however be good for business.
