Haven’t had a drink drink in over a month and my first weeknight booze in who knows how long but a peach tea vodka lemonade at a concert sounded like just the thing. This place is so nice and I’m pleased with the seats I picked! Happy birthday (from March) @fattyscott.bsky.social !

Then we got out the wrestling toys & treated it like an ultimate hell in a cell ring & that was a huge hit. Then today, dad asked if he wanted to get in and lo & behold, 3.5 months later our birthday gift is being enjoyed as intended. Kids are weird.
Strongly recommend some early morning whimsy with bubbles and 2000s pop before starting your day
Not up for outdoor time in this heat so for a fun free indoor activity I took W to go look at the fish/birds/lizards/rodents at the nearby Petco

Had our outside adventure time before 11am and now having lazy playroom Sunday time bc it’s gonna be too damn hot today
The coffee shop inside the Made in KC stores has an “oranje” stroopwafel latte today. I treated myself so I could feel a little festive while I work on my progress notes all morning.
I’ll wear some oranje even though I can’t participate in any of the fun fan stuff today.
The toddler has climbed out of his crib for the first time. Even in his sleep sack. I found him like this when I went to get him up this morning. Send help.
I decided to put W in the backup outfit we had for family pics today but he asked for his dad to get him dressed. Then he liked the outfit and his shoes so much he told dad “take pictures?” And here we are
Got myself a city connect shirt when we went to the K Sunday. Decided today was a good day to be casual since it’s only a 2 client day (one is online and the other is one of my teenagers)
We had such a lovely family outing at the K with my sis & parents. Husband got amazing diamond club tickets from a vendor and we even had premium lot M parking. Couldn’t have ordered better weather and the seats ended up with just enough shade for the game too.
My sister and I are out at Kaufman Center to see the KC Symphony do their interpretation of some Taylor eras. We had a wonderful dinner at Anton’s and even got valet parking all thanks to my Mother’s Day gift from @fattyscott.bsky.social
