Ran the numbers and the average is 21 months after appointment of a mid term PM an election is called. So an election in May 2028 would be about right, technically early as an election could legally wait until August 2029, at 3yrs 10 months not a long Parliament but still longer than two recent ones
Ground tidy day at Kendal Town FC. Like all non league clubs we depend on volunteers and helpers to make it work so I’m doing my part with repainting walls. At least there’s not much I can do wrong with black and white!

A great 4-2 win by Kendal Town today keeps us in the playoff zone and while I enjoyed watching Kendal, my phone brought me happy news of Morecambe and Jimbos possibly career best 5-0 victory to kindle new hope of survival

This is really sad. @privateeyenews.bsky.social reporting that the Insight Team at Sunday Times is being shut down & closed. Newspapers seem to have given up on investigative journalism due to its cost & legal risk; but investigative journalism is at the heart of what newspapers are supposed to do
