Do you know how much a billion is? If I worked as a dish pig for ten dollars an hour in 1997 dollars, and that increased at cpi, taking into account tax bracket creep and assuming an extra cash shift every fortnight, adjusting for one staff meal a shift except for split shifts, plus cashing the hospo night discount booze every tuesday, and I continued working 35 hours a week with three weeks unpaid holiday a year where I picked up one shift a week except the third week, plus for a month illness and injury every two years except for a patch of good health over 2003-2005, and becoming a shift manager from 2002 and venue manager for 2006 until the place closed down in 2009 (not my fault), assuming income support when I fell under the threshold (not including cashies), and small gifts of under $200 for christmas from mum, and once my girlfriend lent me 50 bucks but then dumped me and wrote off the debt, and then in 2010 | went back to uni for two years and got qualified in advertising but didn't get work in the field for 18 months, and thereafter earning a full time wage starting at 80 grand per annum with benefits and assuming the median career progression, neither progressing overly fast or getting demoted, and typical time out of work for changing jobs and mental breakdowns, over the course of a working life I still wouldn't have a trillion dollars yet

Prayers up for the truckie who flipped his B double on the ring road overpass at the M1. All eastbound lanes closed, carpark conditions from about Laverton. Had to divert via Boundary road. Every day truckies have to face the chance that this will happen. Praying for his recovery. Real 1s know.
