Simpsons writer-producer, everything else watcher. Co-creator of Netflix’s F Is For Family and Lil Kev on BET +. The Mets are killing me.
That’s sending off some major “Dune Souvenir Popcorn Bucket” vibes.
I’m thrilled to be back in the LEGO Star Wars Cinematic Brickiverse as the writer of this delightful Disney + special. More details to come, but it’s very very special indeed. May The This Is The Way Be With You on September 2!
It seems even a well-regarded scholarly history of the Mets can’t help but Mets it up a little.
There’s an amazing (though “blind itemed”) story about him in Edward Zwick’s highly entertaining memoir.
Hey there! That was a combination of the stories of John Cheever (notably “The Swimmer”), “The Man In The Grey Flannel Suit” and “Mad Men”. The art style was based on 50s advertising art by artists like Bob Peak, and the beatnik animation was based on the style of the great Jules Feiffer.
Actually we based the beatnik designs on the cartoons of Jules Feiffer. But I am a huge fan of the UPA style.
And then he shows up a couple of years later in The Empire Strikes Back!
People rightfully cite The Germans as the best episode, but I have a huge soft spot for “Waldorf Salad”. The way that American jerk just reams Basil out is heartbreaking.
Super excited about this super funny super-sized episode that I co-wrote with the great Nick Dahan. Directed by the dynamic duo of Matt Nastuk and Tim Bailey. Coming to Disney + on June 17! deadline.com/2026/05/the-...
Looks a lot like Maxfield Parrish’s “Old King Cole” mural in The St Regis Hotel.
This one episode of a forgotten one season show had so many incredible talents involved in it. Not to mention Michael Parks, who later appeared in my all-time favorite bad movie, FFOLKES aka NORTH SEA HIJACK.
