Fighting against climate change, mainly by campaigning for fossil fuel divestment by pension funds. RT ≠ endorsement. Also on Twitter: @moorishgarden
“Climate change is generating conditions that can destabilise high-mountain rock and ice.”
Came across this yesterday. Nice illustration of the plagiarism that underpins AI. I think it was shared by @simongerman600.bsky.social
2026: “One senior union official told the Financial Times on Thursday: “There are ongoing discussions to try to stop Ed Miliband. There is a GMB-Unite axis on this.”” 2010: GMB and Unite both supported Ed Miliband for the Labour leadership. 🤔 www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
Zie verder bsky.app/profile/groe...
Hi @andrewsparrowgdn.bsky.social, there seems to be a typo in @peterwalker99.bsky.social’s name here.
Good morning @andrewsparrowgdn.bsky.social! There’s a typo in this text (“agreed” should be “agree”).
Klopt.
The results are in: 97% of PvdA members (Labour) and 96% of GroenLinks members (the Greens) have voted in favour of the merger (and therefore to dissolve their own party. We are now Progressief Nederland together! 💃🏼🕺🏽 ❤️💚
Historic moment in the Netherlands: the members of two political parties, GroenLinks (the Greens) and the Partij van de Arbeid (Labour), are about to vote on the proposal to merge the parties and become Progressief Nederland (Progressive Netherlands) or PRO. (They are expected to vote “yes”.) ❤️💚
Brought to you by the Dutch. (🤫🫣) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_...
Yes, thank you @stephenkb.bsky.social. Lots of people seem to be jumping to the wrong conclusions here.
Do these politicians not read the research on this? 👉 If you copy Reform’s policies, you are saying that Reform is right and that will make some of your voters choose Reform. 👉 But it will make even more Labour voters vote Green or LibDem, handing the seats to Reform. Idiots the lot of them! 🤦🏼♀️
Hi @edmo-eu.bsky.social, this paragraph in the article about the monetisation of outrage seems to have accidentally been split in two. @shoutoutuk.bsky.social edmo.eu/blog/the-mon...
In this podcast @lexytopping of the Guardian seems to be wearing the electoral map of Birmingham. 😉 www.theguardian.com/politics/vid...
@nionwomen.bsky.social @labour4transrights.bsky.social @goodlawproject.org
I’m sorry if you thought that I was complaining. It was an honest question. You are the only one that I know of who creates threads using alt text, so I am curious about why you have decided to do it that way. And I don’t “follow” you because you are part of my “UK and EU”-list. I prefer to follow
I can’t find a lot of information on this concept online, apart from this interview: thecityateyelevel.com/app/uploads/... The link on this website where it seems to have been described as a good practice no longer seems to work: www.interregeurope.eu/good-practic... 6/6
Coffee Company begon bijvoorbeeld in 1996. De eerste Starbucks in Amsterdam opende pas 15 jaar later, in 2011.
This PMB to change the constitution to include a “corrective referendum” has changed hands at least twice: it was introduced by MPs Marijnissen and Temmink, who passed it on to the MP Dijk, who then passed it on to the MP Van Nispen (who has since left Parliament; not sure who is responsible now).
Good idea! I would go for buying European though: we need each other(‘s yummy food 😉). There are several apps for that, like this one. I’ve tried two products so far and on one it was correct, but I am pretty sure that Farm Brothers is an NL company with BE parent. apps.apple.com/nl/app/buy-e...
Is the UK government asking people to prepare for emergencies? Dutch residents have all been sent a booklet that explains that we need to be able to manage by ourselves for 72 hours without electricity, water etc. I think I may have seen similar things from Poland(?) and Finland(?), but not the UK.
