Regularly wrong on the internet; #twinja herd migration straggler
I think what offends me the most is that they could have hired an interior decorator and rented real furniture for about $500 to $3k and instead they spent a couple grand on AI tokens to make the house look like it was decorated in a video game where base building was added as an afterthought
“You kids like backrooms, right? We got your backrooms right here.”
Here, I actually like this impractical but vaguely Sputnik-y ceiling fan, but putting it in an intersecting airspace with the path of a ceiling vent isn’t good design.
I very sincerely doubt that these are real chairs, but if they are, they are essentially three-legged stools with a decorative riser on the back, and they look deeply uncomfortable.
For example: here, it seems to have perceived a shadow cast on the white couch as the leg of a stool and created an accommodating space on the curved glass surface behind the couch for a vanity seat that isn’t there.
In the sense of a small business owner with a private education with some truly out-there beliefs, we’ve already got one:
Today I read the worst two sentences I’ve ever seen with my own eyeballs:
It’s a fact, Graham. Quit fighting your volunteers on Discord and get back to work.
For the record, the Platner campaign is at frame 3 here, and I’m taking notes of Dems who cannot reach frame 4.
My first effort did not turn out pretty because I neglected to use White Lily flour and my baking powder is old, but it’s essentially “buttermilk biscuits with 2 cups flour and 1 cup masa harina instead of 3 cups flour)”
It’s a shame that @cunninglinguist.co stopped posting over here because they distilled like 3/4 of Bluesky onto a bumper sticker:
I don’t know if my Horse Ladies have seen this ad seeking an extremely dumb horse but it cracked me up: ( @piegoblin.bsky.social & @batmansrobyn.bsky.social I always forget someone who is a horse person; I’m sorry if I forgot to tag you)
It’s Marie Antoinette, a woman who, to my knowledge, never visited Mobile or New Orleans. Macarons, historically inaccurate music montage, and guillotine not included:
Would you like to look like a preppy Muppet? Or at least a preppy hunter of Muppets? Because eloquii has you covered:
Oh, so we’re gonna investigate people who misrepresent the scope of their renovation projects now? Interesting.
Anyway the newest weird thing I’ve seen in stores is this Boursin rebrand with Emily in Paris, which never fails to make me say “Emily in Paris!?” in the same voice Andrew Dismukes used in the Churro Lady SNL sketch:
