Colyar is openly bigoted against nonbinary people like me earlier in this conversation, so I'd be wary using them for support on any argument regarding queer "allyship".
Four years ago (yesterday), a visit to the doctor's office led me to intenstive care. I told myself that I wouldn't cut my hair until my doctors said "everything's good, keep doing what you're doing." I'm finally at that point, but I kinda like my longer hair.

Great read, but it scares me that this has to be explained to so many people when it’s core to the plot of the first novel I’m working on.
When I sat on the graduate student admissions committee, I saw so much open bigotry *from sociologists* based on race, family wealth prestige markers, and gender when discussing who to admit. I can only imagine the anti-trans bigotry from these scholars (intentionally?) missing the point.
