Update: my 50-hour workweek did not end yesterday. But one thing that got me through it was the Thursday delivery of this wonderful weighted keyboard from Donner Music. My wife and younger stepson did the light assembly, and he’s been up early the last two days to practice. #stepdadwin

Finally got a glimpse of our new home today since my work schedule hadn’t lined up for it. I’ll miss Costa Mesa but the have/have-not line can be stark there, and it was impossible to find a rental home with a yard at a “reasonable” price by Southern California standards. Anaheim will treat us well.
