Whatever dude. Here's the Eindhoven nest I had frozen by the local council for free within 24 hours of notifying them, the bricks are normal size - see the yellow boots?
Real Asian hornets feed on normal bees. They chop off their heads and stripey bits and the middle bit they feed to their young. There's a concerted effort in Europe to eradicate them, you should report it to your local council.
Well here's something you don't see everyday. We get quite a few storks here in Groningen, but black ones are few and far between. In Dutch they're called Ooievaars which for years has been my favourite Dutch word. Went shopping this evening and there it was, right by the road.
So many wonderful memories of encounters with these animals on the bestest bit of England of all.
Or even this one, good luck finding it online, my cassette is somewhere in the attic, track 8
It's one of those things that builds a person. 35 years later this gets painted and I guarantee my garden is there for wildlife first and us 2nd forever

Are you kidding?! I LOVED The Wall. It was the first Floyd album released when I had my own money to go and buy it. Went to the concert in Earl's Court. "disappointing" no, inspiring yes. Roger Waters was the mad scientist in Floyd, after he left it was just science but ... Final Cut was shit.
@paulblinkhorn.bsky.social Had one of these recently in a restaurant. 9%, very smokey taste and quite frankly lush. Not sure I'd buy a 6 pack but as an aperitif it was 2nd to none. Brewed local to me in Groningen at the Brouwerij Martinus, it's won gold medals apparently.
