This is not a question without an answer. The actual proposal says something. The scientist who wrote the relevant section has told Congress (& risks perjury if lying) TWICE what it says. This is not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of intellectual honesty. When will cranks like this apologize?

A dynamic familiar to anyone who's had experience with conspiracy theorists. The conspiracy theory itself cannot fail, it can only be failed. And stuff that was once evidence *for* the conspiracy theory inevitably becomes evidence of some 11 dimensional false flag cover-up when it doesn't pan out.

Left: Lab Leaker idiot saying the selectively dumped docs make "a modified virus the most likely origin". Right: an email from the docs saying DOE officially changed their assessment to "'not' genetically engineered". This is how conspiracy theorists deal with empirical evidence (i.e. they don't)
