HAPPY NEW YEAR! Normally when @benbumhoffer.bsky.social & I choose a Christmas card design I toss our photo into random templates and we pick one. This was the obvious winner, I only edited our names. We were dying laughing and I tried to choose a "normal" one but this brought us too much joy!

We tried to play when we were at Disneyland back in February 2020, oblivious to future world events obviously. We had lunch at Docking Bay 7 in Galaxy's Edge and did our best to learn the rules but I am very sure we did it wrong lol or at least I did. Yours looks like a very serious game!
We need this for inside year round display. It’s constantly out of stock, I’ve signed up for notifications. Local AZ stores show nothing yet but aren’t fully set up Christmas at all locations. If you find one in store please tell me! I have no clue how we’d get it to me, but I’m losing hope 😭
It is a gorgeous game! It seemed very overwhelming but once we understood the different objectives it was very exciting and strategic. If you love Bridgerton and Downton Abbey, you’ll probably really enjoy this game. You constantly try to enhance your estate so that visitors like yours the best!
Today is always hard, I miss Smudge everyday and it’s been six years now since he died 💔 I’m always reminded the day is coming because of the song September: “Do you remember The 21st night of September?” Everytime I hear that it reminds me that it’s “Smudge Eve”. My boss gave me this necklace 😭

Ugh, that sucks. "Fae Farm will be going offline September 10, 2025 at 23:59 Pacific Time. The online co-op service will no longer be available, and the game will receive no future updates. The single player offline mode will remain playable." I guess that solves my "what should I stream?" issue.

Last night around 8pm our A/C stopped working. We did our best to stay cool with the kitties cool all night but got very little sleep. It’s AZ 🥵 Finally around noon apartment maintenance fixed it! Then @benbumhoffer.bsky.social & I went to a TREAT YO SELF breakfast date at Cracker Barrel. 😴🍽️❤️🍽️😴
Thankfully the car I drive for work has good A/C and cooled down to 106 to pick the kids up. My own 1999 car on the other hand blows warm air while it tries to not overheat on my 15 minute drive home. I always refill my water bottle before I leave work just in case I break down but blargh AZ! 🥵💦
I'm really enjoying Dune: Awakening so far! I love gathering materials and building my base. Exploring is fun but I get lost very easily so @benbumhoffer.bsky.social redirects me. I'm just taking it slow and having fun with it. Looking forward to visiting new areas as I level up!

I told Ben about Dune: Awakening and he got it for both of us. He likes that universe a lot and I like survival crafting games. Trying out the beta weekend. I’m having so much fun building and I’ve barely started. Excited to see what else I’ll be able to do once I can research more items to use!
