Celebrated a bit of good medical news by doing some of the most fun and dangerous kind of book shopping: picking out books I've never even heard of before but that look fun and interesting but not too heavy or intense. Begone, reading slump!

I am also just beginning my very pleasurable journey through Marie-Pierre Sale's "Watercolor: A History," which the amazing Paul of @kingsbookstore.bsky.social managed to track down for me. It is a truly sumptuous book.
This was my break from family stuff! A real treat. But beware the wild foyer floor. 😅
The Emily Carr exhibit at the VAG is well worth a visit. A really expansive array of her work and thoughtful commentary as well.
