That feeling when you are done with the day and nature opens its arms to receive you.
Just this morning I used the last drop of rainwater from my barrels, which total 750 gallons. And this afternoon, they are all filling up. Thank you sky! For two weeks I've been promising the plants rain; finally my word is good.
Have you ever tucked in a tarantula? We did last night on our state park hike.
A dry and beautiful and tiny horseshoe canyon in my neighborhood, as seen on today‘s morning walk.
Storm clouds deserve a time-lapse video, to truly appreciate their fierce force. They plow through the atmosphere, as do the dive-bombing raindrops who shout, "I'm going for it!" while most cling to the glass, paralyzed, hoping they don't fill up with themselves too much and fall into the unknown.
I'm sitting outside, listening to the thunder as I get an emergency weather alert, and I think they might be talking about this:
Best wishes and may we stay in touch here. Sneak peek of my preparations:
This was from the other morning; I was not quit in the right spot and you know how quickly they run off, but it's a bunny! Jackrabbit, to be more specific.
David Hockney. May we see a surge in deeply felt whimsy as he and his genius leave us.
Returning the favor, single images, made in camera, no manipulation, painting with light to capture the inner vibrational state that the eye cannot see.
It's (always) a good day for a walk and time at the sit spot. Morning walk while it's still cool? yes, thank you. (New video support is awesome. Thank you!)
There’s always hope in the world. Take a minute to look for it. @debhaalandnm.bsky.social is on track to be our next governor in New Mexico. She has an incredible life story & resumé of accomplishment across local, state, & federal domains. She will be the first American Indian governor. It’s time.
🌿 I’m hosting a two-hour nature walk on Sunday, June 14th, from 9-11 am. Here in New Mexico off the Turquoise Trail. Why? This evidenced-based program can boost your immune system, normalize your blood pressure, lift depression, boost creativity, and much more. 🌿 Sign up: NatureWalksWithRox.com

In an alternate universe, verified by me, this is happening. Nature is our refuge.
I give in. She died 10 years ago, and I'm so glad I got to spend the last year of her life caring for her and the damn ALZ. We spent decades rarely speaking. But the end of life illness (treated in part with Lexapro!) opened her heart and we had a great time together. I miss you, Blanche.
NM friends - I'm leading a forest bathing aka nature therapy walk tomorrow (Monday pm) w Cerrillos Hills State Park! This is a reset, refresh, & restore of your inner and outer balance. Nearly effortless as nature, the land, the trees show us the way. www.cerrilloshills.org/events/fores...
For my NM neighbors. Come join us on Global Forest Bathing Day at Cerrillos Hills State Park! Monday, May 4th, 5-7 pm. www.cerrilloshills.org/events/fores...
Imagine you are lying on the ground, looking up, and the clouds are passing by to soothe you and cleanse this timeline.
After the rain sunshine arrives And all the glows on our morning walk.
Come forest bathing this Friday! April 10, 5-7 pm, Santa Fe, NM region If you aren't sure what this is, let me know. I am happy to explain it. The health benefits are so fabulous, and most of all it is the best tonic for stress.
I am feeling trolled by an AI bot. I mean, how else do you explain this? It knows I love nature, positivity, but c’mon. Fake as fake gets.
Thank you everyone for your truly smart comments! Tree had more votes, and, it suits my "straightforward" personality the best, too. Here is the final version:
