Just got my hands on a 1954 map of Nashville. Pretty much the same place as it is now…🦞

Unfolded map of Nashville from 1954. Most of the map has a yellow background while the downtown area is white. Parks are marked in green. On the left side of the map is a blue vertical section titled “Scenic Nashville” with photos of some downtown landmarks like the Opry (when it was at the Ryman Auditorium), the courthouse and 1st Presbyterian Church.

The other half has a section for a detailed map of downtown Nashville, a section on “Points of Interest” which includes the State Capitol, the Tomb of James K Polk, the Hermitage, the Parthenon, Fort Nashborough & Vanderbilt University. The last section is the front and back of the map when it is folded up.
