I only had a minute 5 outside of the children’s dep. at the library when Teacup signed up for summer reading. So, this is all I picked up. I went to The River Cafe once eons ago & we saw Mel Brooks & Anne Bancroft at the restaurant. He’s one of the celebrities featured in this book.
I just received the newest book from the Bloggess’s book club. If you want me to be immediately intrigued with a book a George Eliot quote at the beginning is always a good choice.

There is a construction crew in front of my house being very loud. So, I’m hiding out at the library. On the plus side my holds are ready.
Bookstore haul. I returned 2 books that Teacup already had & grabbed her 2 Investigator books to replace them. I got myself 2 journals (1 for keeping track of books & 1 for everything else), a Goblincore coloring book, a Punk History calendar, & The Seventh Veil of Salome by Silvia Moreno-Garcia.
When your everyday clothes make it easy to pull together a pirate outfit at the last minute.
Teacup brought home her 2nd grade writing portfolio today. Among many cute stories was Gravity Falls fan fiction, and this was on the first page. Reader, I cried. The paper says: dedicated to mom master of weird.

Went went to our local comic bookstore today and I picked up these with a giftcard D had given me for Christmas. They didn’t have vol2 in stock but they ordered it for me.
The rest of the laptop stickers. I’ll highlight some more of them later.
And another reminder. This one says “Taking Care of Yourself is Productive” with flower around it.
New laptop sticker. It’s Agent Carter from the MCU and says “I Know My Value” which I don’t actually, which annoys my therapist on a regular basis. So, this is to remind me.
My bookstore hall today. Teacup also left with quite a few books which she bought herself with a gift card snd Christmas money from relatives.
Lentil soup for NYD dinner. It might not look like much, but it’s delicious!
Anniversary/mom’s birthday dinner with the family tonight, and a matinee play with D earlier in the day. It was a great day, and I’m a little tipsy from cosmos.
